Dr. Jangi Bajwa

BVSc & AH · Diplomate ACVD · Fear-Free Certified

Dr. Bajwa graduated as a veterinarian in 2003 and practiced in general practice for a number of years. During that time he developed a passion for dermatology and ear conditions. He entered a three-year residency under the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and became board certified in 2014, and has worked in dermatology-only practice for small animals since.

He is passionate about pet owner education as well as continuing education for veterinarians. He has taught clinical rotations at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon.

His clinical research interests include pododermatitis, otitis (ear disease), and malassezia dermatitis. Outside the clinic, Dr. Bajwa enjoys running, sports, and time with his family.

Dr. Carmen Saenz

Carmen received her veterinary degree in Monterrey, Mexico in 2005 and has worked in general practice since 2007, gaining her full North American licence in 2016. She joined VetDERM in 2018 and keeps clinical and non-clinical operations running smoothly.

Dr. Kabir Brar

DVM · Veterinary Dermatology Intern · Fear-Free Certified

Kabir graduated with distinction from the University of Melbourne in 2025, focusing his final year on allergic skin disease, ear disease and immune-mediated conditions. He began his specialty dermatology internship at VetDERM in 2026.

Joban

Practice Manager · Fear-Free Certified

Joban earned her degree in Business Management in 2017, having started in the veterinary field as a clinic assistant while still in college. With over a decade of management experience, she keeps operations seamless and the team supported.

Erin

Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) · Fear-Free Certified

An RVT since 2014, Erin worked in general practice in Edmonton and then in emergency medicine in Vancouver before joining VetDERM in 2020. She has a particular interest in animal behaviour and her patients’ emotional wellbeing.

Madison

BSc · KPA-CTP · Fear-Free Certified

Maddy started in the veterinary field as a clinic volunteer in 2012 and has worked as a technician for the last five years, completing her Bachelor of Science in 2016. She joined VetDERM in 2025 and is a certified Fear-Free dog trainer.

Jennine

Veterinary Receptionist · Fear-Free Certified

Jennine graduated from the Granville College VOA program in 2015 and spent seven years with local non-profit animal rescue organisations before joining the VetDERM front desk at the end of 2022.
